Don Segien is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist living in Chino Valley, Arizona. Encouraged by his parents, he began playing the electric bass at age 12. Since those early days, he's had many musical adventures.

Long Strange Trip
His first band in junior high school was truly a garage band. In high school, Don and his band advanced to the final round of the Los Angeles Battle of the Bands and performed at the Hollywood Bowl.
In subsequent years he's performed with many bands around the world in concert, recording, and on television.

"I've written some songs and I can sing. I guess that makes me a singer songwriter? For me, it's all about the song, whether it's written by me or by somebody else. I enjoy connecting with people through music. Acoustic performances in small venues are my favorites these days."

Although Don cut his teeth on the electric bass, he's quite proficient on other instruments including guitar, mandolin, banjo, pedal steel, and piano.
